With the emergence of new technologies and the rise of global hybrid business models, workplace collaboration has become increasingly complex. According to a Forbes survey, nearly 50% of workers reported that ineffective communication has negatively impacted their productivity. Integrating multiple cross-subsidiary on-premises systems into a unified cloud platform to create a holistic workplace collaboration solution presents significant challenges. In addition, climate change and the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives remain major global concerns. In response, the company focuses on three key goals: developing an innovative digital workplace to support emerging technologies, aligning with international ESG standards and fulfilling corporate social responsibility, and promoting diverse talent to build a friendly and inclusive workplace.

Embracing the spirit of "Better Together", Cathay Financial Holdings has launched the Cathay 6S Project (Simple, Smart, Smooth, Smile, Safe, ESG) with the proposition of building superb employee, enterprise, and ESG DNA. This project aims to create a sustainable and deeply digitalized organization, fostering effective collaboration and a diverse-friendly workplace supported by a corresponding platform. The most important of all, this project pursues mutual prosperity with employees, customers, society, and the environment to support the strategy of "Digital Innovation, Sustainable Practice".

  • The Cathay 6S Project is the world’s first model designed to comprehensively propel Employee, Enterprise and ESG simultaneously.
  • The first company in Taiwan to establish “Low-Code & No-Code” new working model and integrating multiple cross-subsidiary on-premises systems into three public cloud platforms to create a unified digital framework with unique architectures and access settings — saving 2.2 million working hours.
  • Employee satisfaction achieved a high score of 4.20 out of 5 and with a 91% retention rate — an 8% increase compared to the 2024.
