Climate Change is a grave issue of our time and we are at a defining moment. From shifting weather patterns, to rising sea levels, the impacts of climate change are global in scope and unprecedented in scale. In 2018 the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change warned that the planet will reach the crucial threshold of 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2030, precipitating the risk of extreme drought, wildfires, floods and food shortages. Despite incredible progress in areas such as climate science, renewable energy, and international cooperation, much work is still needed to protect this blue and green marble which we inhabit.
