From the observation of heat in the environment, Fractal-Thailand Co., Ltd. have found that among heat transfer process which are conduction, atmospheric convection and thermal radiation, the major root cause of heat produced in the circumstance is “Thermal Radiation”. As a matter of that Scale and/or Size of an object plays an important role in producing the thermal radiation and this is a major cause of temperature elevation in urban areas.
Stacking of the leaves is the Company’s origin of developing imagination, where they put together mathematical and biomimic (naturemimic) as a solution to reduce the thermal radiation. It is different from all conventional roofs where the product significantly reduces thermal radiation and provides semi-outdoor atmosphere. It can be used in a vertical & horizontal alignment.
And the product is designated by “FRACTAL SHADE”.

The FRACTAL SHADE is structurally constructed from a FRACTAL UNIT in which the FRACTAL UNIT mimics a stack of number of small leaves in 2D-FRACTAL Dimension regarding Sierpinski Tetrahedron. This tetrahedron structure scientifically tends to absorb and distribute heat with its high value of heat transfer coefficient (h) or in other words, the FRACTAL SHADE is not heated up itself under sunlight resulting low thermal radiation under the FRACTAL SHADE and the structure itself well creates air ventilation.
