It is a common perception that we learn from experience, while in truth, we learn from reflecting on experience. Self-reflection delivers a sense of intentional awareness of our daily experiences that drives behavioral change, leading to personal and career growth. Our behaviors are shaped by who we are as individuals, and self-reflection allows us to learn and understand our inner selves to resolve interpersonal conflicts as well as hone our skills. Simple yet powerful, self-reflection is a tool for us to identify our weaknesses and turn them into strengths, ultimately developing ourselves to become successful members of society.
