In 2017, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited revised its Corporate Vision to “Evolving Greenovation : To be the leading Asian Greenovative Group, founded on Good Corporate Governance, through Inclusiveness, and Sustainability”. The Vision aims to reflect its expanding business, whereby “Green Innovation” is the core driving force for Bangchak’s future strategy. To meet its goal, Bangchak underwent extensive restructuring in order to incorporate “innovation” at all levels, setting up committees, BU sponsors, Innovation Managers, and facilitators with clear roles and responsibilities in order to promote an innovative working environment.
A Corporate Innovation Framework was established to guide and direct Bangchak and its subsidiaries in the same direction, consisting of numerous activities designed to address various dimensions of operational innovation. In order to become the leading “Greenovation Group”, the Company established the Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC). The Center aims to find a new S-Curve for Bangchak, with a commitment in accelerating, investing, and creating a green ecosystem that allows green energy and bio-based innovation to be incorporated into the existing businesses of Bangchak and its subsidiaries. “Evolving Greenovation.”
With the belief that innovation cannot be created without continuous learning, Bangchak established a learning platform, “WeShare”. The platform is opened to all employees, to collaborate across-functions in order to promote open-innovation.
