The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) is
responsible for generating and supplying electricity to the
Metropolitan Electricity Authority and Provincial Electricity
Authority and other legal power users. It also manages
power-related activities and services. The ENZY Platform
is an energy management system developed by EGAT. It
is a powerful tool enabling clients to monitor, control, and
optimize energy usage to reduce costs and enhance machine
performance.
The platform has four major features: monitoring, analytics,
control, and reporting. Regarding its monitoring function,
the ENZY Platform allows EGAT’s customers to track their
energy consumption, peak demand, energy cost, and power
generation. Its analytic features or Artificial Intelligence (AI)
models help optimize energy usage and control machines
automatically. This functionality significantly benefits its major
clients, industrial factories. In Thailand, clients should submit
an energy report to the regulator every year. Before the ENZY
Platform, its client’s staff had to record the data from their
meters manually, but now, the ENZY Platform helps them autogenerate
a full report with just a few clicks.
