Galaxion is a web-based system that automates grading for database courses, addressing challenges faced by BINUS University in Indonesia. It replaces the slow, inconsistent manual grading process, enabling faster and more accurate grading of SQL queries and providing immediate feedback to students. Since its implementation in 2023, Galaxion has significantly reduced grade appeals and improved grading consistency across 11 BINUS campuses.

Before Galaxion, instructors spent 10 minutes per student on grading, leading to delays and errors. Galaxion automates the process with customizable rubrics, integrates with university systems, and scales to handle over 3,000 assessments per semester.

In addition to offering instant feedback to students, Galaxion's feedback system also helps educators by enabling them to evaluate their teaching materials and refine their approach. Going forward, Galaxion plans to add a leaderboard feature to further motivate students. With strong commercial potential, it offers a cost-effective solution for institutions worldwide to enhance both student learning and educator evaluations.
