North East Rubber Public Company Ltd., is the rubber midstream manufacturer, was established in 2006. The Company’s current manufacturing capacity is 232,800 tons/year, with estimating future production of 292,800 tons in 2019, 400,000 tons in 2020. Three types of rubber products, which are sold to both domestic and international markets, are RSS-4 types and STR – 2 types. Another type of STR which is known as Mixture Rubber, undergoes special production through dry process, is exported to China and other countries.
The manufacturing team has realized that the cost of utility and electricity in particular, incurred through “DRY” process, has been continuously increasing. Thus, the process had been reengineered to reduce such cost by being able to maintain product quality in which various customers still accept. Most importantly, such improvement greatly reduces the production cost as a whole. This reengineered production process is widely recognized by both domestic and international customers. The Cost-Saving-Innovation program creates real value throughout the company’s supply chain of midstream, end users, and traders.
The WET process mixture rubber product was discovered by NER’s team of production – engineering – QA to meet management’s ‘cost efficient’ target and customers’ demand for ‘high quality’ products.
