RAIFFEISEN BANK INTERNATIONAL

Back to Hall of Fame

The Innovation School is Raiffeisen Bank International’s flagship experience-based learning program, empowering employees from all roles and backgrounds across 11 countries to drive sustainable innovation and growth. Since 2019, it has equipped over 400 participants with actionable tools and mindsets to embed innovation directly into business practice.

The 2024 edition in Tirana, Albania, united 86 participants and 18 coaches in a six-day immersive learning journey built on a 360° format: a four-day onsite sprint, two weeks of hands-on application of their learnings, and a two-day virtual reflection. Participants collaborated in interdisciplinary, cross-cultural teams applying Design Thinking, Agile methods, and facilitation techniques to realistic business challenges.

A deliberate focus on diversity — of backgrounds, functions, and nationalities — ensures richer collaboration and stronger learning transfer. After the program, participants cascade insights to their business lines, amplifying impact across the Group through peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.

With a Net Promoter Score of 87, 90% of participants applying new skills, and 31 innovation projects launched, the Innovation School proves that structured, human-centered learning can scale across borders — turning individual development into collective transformation and embedding a lasting innovation culture within RBI Group.
